INTENSA held a tree plantation drive in collaboration with Pro Active Goans ‘Go Goa Green Initiative’.
The Information Technology Engineering Students Association (INTENSA) of Information Technology Department of the Goa College of Engineering was established in the year 2003. INTENSA strives to create a sense of technical, cultural and social vibe amidst the faculty and student and keeps a continuous flow of activities that help them share valuable knowledge and showcase a plethora of talent. The council aims at creating an environment that helps an individual grow technically and socially.

Team INTENSA organised the first edition of their intercollegiate event ‘TechFluence 2k19 - Influenced by Technology’. The two-day programme comprised of various technical events and witnessed the enthusiastic participation of students from colleges across the state.

Team INTENSA in the view of “World Cancer Day”, organised a Cancer Awareness fundraiser. The contribution from the program aided cancer patient treatments, through the assistance of Dr. Manoj Prabhudessai, an Indian Medical Association Fel-lowship member.

Team INTENSA in association with Rotary Club, Ponda organised a session on the topic success without stressby conducted by Dr. Prashant Kakode, a surgeon from Cambridge, and his team who enlighted the audience on various topics related to stress.

Team INTENSA in association with Ms. Tanvi Seth, Counselling Psychologist at Fortis Healthcare Department of Mental Health & Behavioural Sciences, Delhi organised a live webinar whose primary aim was to educate the audience on how to deal with stress and how to maintain their mental health while juggling with hectic daily schedules.

Team INTENSA in association with Mr. Vishwanath Swar, Head of Department of Commerce (HSS), MES College, Vasco organised a Session on Personality Development. The agenda for the talk was how to be positive in life, self-hypnosis with positive affirmations, how to build up good self-esteem, and a few inspiring stories.

Team INTENSA in association with GEC-Goa Alumni Asso-ciation, organized a motivational session by Ms. Priya Dalvi, a passionate writer, speaker, blogger and an engineer from our very own Information Technology department of Goa Engineering College. She gave an insight into her book titled “What About PASSION?” which is about the journey of 12 engineers who took up their “sphere of interest” and created stories towards success.
